AVATAR MARKETING

1) The point behind the marketing is so it entises people to go and view the film in the cinema.

3) When I first saw the advert I was in the cinema, and it didn't really appeal to me. Then I saw the extended Trailer and thats when the film then appealed to me because the first trailer I saw wasn't my sort of fil the second trailer then appealed to me.

4)The campaign is trying to communicate for you to go and see there product for this instance it is the film avtar.

5)The overall stratergy used is persuasion, they are tyring to get you to go and get or go and see the products and the only way you can do that is persuasion, people are easily persuaded into going to see a film so using media to get people to see there film is the best way.

6) there are many different way's avatar has been advertised, it has been on sides of buses, television and cinema trailers, posters,billboards and other ways.

7) The similar things of the advertising campaigns are the images shown to the audiance and the directors name is always shown on these advertisements, the use the same image for newspapers magazines and posters also on television the clips they show are the same as the screenshots and cinema advertising.
